Hi,
I'm Jackie.

The Basics

The Official Stuff

I'm a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), registered and in good standing with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, with additional training in ADHD, neurodiversity, and women's hormonal health. I genuinely love learning, and continuing education is an important part of how I stay informed and continue showing up well for the people I work with.

Before Becoming a Counsellor

Before becoming a counsellor, I spent nearly a decade working within provincial healthcare and contributing to a variety of health and wellness programs and initiatives. That experience continues to shape how I understand the systemic barriers people face, the many factors that influence well-being, and why looking at the whole person matters so much to me.

A Big Part of My ‘Why’

While I support clients with a range of concerns, ADHD is where my heart is. As a neurodivergent woman myself, I understand firsthand what it can mean to think differently and move through a world that is not always designed with you in mind. I'm especially passionate about helping neurodivergent clients feel understood, work with their brains rather than against them, and make more room for who they genuinely are.

Off the Clock

Outside the therapy room, you'll usually find me planning our next trip, checking out live music, visiting local galleries, cooking up a storm, or spending time with family and friends. Animal rescue is especially close to my heart, and we share our home with a lively little crew — including Bowie, our adopted parrot.
